Jens sounds girly.
Erik sounds good.
Henrik is also good.
Henrik has a good sound to it and is not so common. Actually, I've never even heard the name before, but do like it. It's like a modern twist on the old name Henry. It sorta sounds like a character in Harry Potter, to be honest.
Erik is more reliable to always be modern and recognizable.
Hope this is helpful!

Depends where he will spend most of his time. If he will be spending time here in the States for most of his schooling years, etc. then I'd knock out Jens. If he'll be around a Germanic/Nordic area then Jens or Henrick would be fantastic.
