I know several spontaneous people, they don't combust.
However, yes, there are reports of people combusting spontaneously.
Ha, is this a global warming question? Or, perhaps an anti-smoking question?
The event is very very rare ... so please enjoy your day, and don't worry about this event.

No. Every case of 'spontaneous' human combustion ever investigated showed the person set themselves on fire and couldn't put it out or were unconscious. Cigarettes and sleeping medication were most of them. It's not spontaneous, there was a clear cause.

Spontaneous human combustion is a pseudo-scientific phenomenon that has never been satisfactorily proven to occur.
When you think about it is is impossible to imagine something with as much water as a human body actually burning without a huge amount of additional fuel.

there have been numerous counts of this happening (spontaneous human combustion not combustion of spontaneous humans) and there are many other things we cannot explain...so, sure.

I don't think its been proven/disproven but many accounts say its possible. I think if it happens, there has to be some precondition that enabled it, under a certain set of circumstances. Someone perfectly normal in a normal environment can't just erupt in flames.

I saw a special on this on the discovery channel. They showed that it could happen - sort of.
The people who were suspected of SHC were all elderly and smokers. One arson investigator showed how someone could be smoking when they fell asleep, and how this could - in some cases - give the impression of SHC. He used a pig carcass and cigar to actually get this to occur.

3 minutes of the interview lead up to your question.
One drummer exploded on stage. . .
"All that was left was a small green globuel, well more of a stain, really."
