Jesse Simpson - Thank you for being honest. The GOP and DNC should look to people like you for an unbiased view of our government.

I voted for Bush in round 1. At the time, I didn't regret it. I thought it was the right thing to do. I'm still republican by nature, and, for the most part, pretty conservative. But, I have totally lost my faith in Bush, and in my republican party as well. That doesn't mean I've suddenly become an extreme liberal, or even a Democrat for that matter. I just think Bush has destroyed much of what was good. I think he is very unintelligent, and focused on U.S. control of the world, and not really focused on what's good for US as the U.S. We have many problems at home, most of which will not be fixed simply by being in more control of oil, or "fixing" the country of Iraq. I'm disappointed, and I think he has turned out to be worse than Clinton, which was hard. I think even his own father is disappointed in what he has done these last 7+ years.

I believe he's a good man who is faced with an a difficult, and perhaps, untenable situation in Iraq. The Mideast has been in a constant state of war since Biblical times and our military has misjudged how difficult it is to intervene and be successful. Have we made progress? Yes, but the complexity of the situation wasn't grasped by the government(Democrats and Republicans) or the military because their whole way of life is so diametrically opposed to ours. Do I think that there are radical groups who hate our way of life and want to destroy us? Yes! Should we continue to fight it? Yes? Do the American people have the fortitude(as did our families ins WWI and 2) to stand up, sacrifice, and do what's necessary to win? I certainly hope so. Pulling out of Iraq is a dangerous step. We're damned if we do, and damned if we don't. Will we be attacked again? Yes, I think we will. Will we learn from it and pull together? I hope so. Back to Bush. You say "was" in your question. His term isn't over, and none of can predict the future. So, none of us should judge a future outcome.

I think Bush is on a kamikaze mission... he honestly believes that getting oil from Iraq is more important than thousands of American lives and hundreds of thousands of other lives around the world. He cares more about his special "programs" than he cares about if poor American families are getting enough to eat, he doesn't want to increase the minimum wage so people can actually afford to have money at the end of the week, and he wants us to "go shopping" to support the national economy.
He is a sad boy with serious daddy issues, who isn't willing to face reality and realize that there are other people in this world apart from himself, his family, his buddies, and the terrorists.
If that makes him a good president in your eyes, then you are seriously out of your mind.

I would have considered him a good President if he got our troops from Iraq a long time ago. I don't disagree with the war as Saddam was a brutal thug who needed to be removed, but Bush should have withdrawn troops soon after Saddam was taken care of and we could send UN troops to Iraq and have Iraqi security troops take over.

They all get a F. Everyone in the federal government right now. Gonzo, should be fired for incompetence. He can't recall a thing. I am surprised he remembers where he works. Bush, well, has no respect for this country or it's constitution, and he certainly has no respect for the American people.

He has been terrible. He took the opportunity of greatness he had on 9/11/01 and threw it down the crapper. He has turned out to be a liar, corrupt, incompetent, arrogant and greedy. While other presidents have exhibited some of these traits none has put them all together like George W. Bush.

He is probably the worst president on record. He should have never stuck his nose in Iraq in the first place, because now we can't get out. Worse, he SURGES MORE troops in Iraq. It's like HE'S Saddam, trying to kill so many people by sending them to war. No one really has power over him, so we can do nothing.

He is the worst prez yet! Sending our troops over seas to die, for what? And he doesn't give a rats @ss about whats going on here, people here are poor and dieing and he keeps put down the people who want to help like stem cell researchers , because of his beliefs. And gay marriage is a sin? Sounds to me like bushy has a little case of homophobe.
I could careless if a man wanted to be with another man thats his life.

Almost nobody thinks he was a good president and makes any sort of informed attempt to support that premise.
He's lowered taxes for the wealthiest 1%.
He entered our country in war based on faulty logic and a premise of danger and did not withdraw when proven wrong.
He's created laws about education but not funding for it.
I'll stop before my blood pressure gets too high.
