No. Jesus was a carpenter. Modern Occupational Health and Safety standards will require him to wear safety boots, as well as safety glasses and a hard hat. And he'll have to ditch the flowing robes. Loose fitting clothes can too easily be caught up in machinery.

Most definitely. They will be ankle socks but he will somehow mange to stretch them straight up as far as his knees. A bum bag will also be present and probably a ruck sack on his back .

If he appears to the multitude, no one will notice if he is wearing socks or shoes. All will be looking at his face and wondering if the face looks like the one on pictures we came to know of.

I think he would come back in a white suit and Trilby like like the man form delmonte.
Either that or he would bring back Shell suits and then everyone would realise that they are actually cool and not just hazardously flammable.

I think it is hilarious the way some of you people think it is offencive to joke about what a modern day Jesus would wear, like we are going to go to hell for suggesting Jesus in the modern day, might like to ware something a bit more in keeping with the times or even a bit trendy. Actually these funny jokes (they are not funny to me) are kind of offence to me! I take my religion personally! My religion isnt just a religion it is a lifestyle! Just look at the pictures we see of him! He wont actually be walking on the ground as I learn from my religion he will appear to us as a pillar of light not walking in sandals and socks!

if he walks on England's green and pleasant land you can rest assured that he will indeed be wearing socks, they will however be grey or black in colour, and be made of a thick woollen/worsted material
