Of course he's disappointed with what is happening in Iraq. By now I'm sure he expected for all the foreign (US, Brit's, and everyone else) troops to be gone and a 'stable' government to be in place.
The real question is, IF the Democrats get their way and the troops start pulling out as soon as September what will happen then? I hear the detractors saying it's a civil war and we should be gone. I hear the Iraqis saying if we pull out there will be a civil war. So if we pulll out and things really go to hell in a hand basket. Who's going to take the heat? Bush? The US? The Democrats? The Republicans? Talk about a damned of you do and damned if you don't situation.

Is this a trick question or are you asleep at the switch what do you think Bush,is doing in the white House, clicking his heels at what is going on Iraq,I mean come on here ok!
As much as I do not like Bush,he cannot be happy about what is going on in Iraq, all of the troops that have died and been wounded over there and you ask a question like this and yes I am a veteran.

Frankly I think Bush is too busy making sure he gets his shoes on the right feet to be bothered with trivial things like the mounting death toll of American troops or the rampant abuse of power spreading within his own administration.

It's not only possible but likely. Who is actually happy that we are losing our troops to a faceless enemy? We haven't lost that many troops in a "stand up" fight but we lose them to IED and RPG's...
