There are different definitions of normal. And everyone is different so normal for them might be odd or strange for someone else. Scientists, psychologists usually look at normal as what normally occurs in the majority. Like it's normal to cry,get angry,in denial with death. And such. And even Rare feelings and occurances can be normal too but they look at it with the majority and such. I think that's right. If not I apologize for wasting your time.

My definition of normal is that which pertains to the norm, however everyone's perception of what is normal differs, even within the same family and social grouping. For instance, even members of my family consider me to be weird even though I think that everything I do is reasonable and logical.
For me, personally .... being alone, liking science-fiction and science fact for that matter ..... not wanting social contact with anyone and having a hunger for learning ... all this is normal

normality is an essence that people will never know, i like pizza with crayons on top. This, this is not normal. Monkeys are my friends, and they read me the morning newspaper when I'm too tired to make a pot of tea. This, this is not normal. There is a one-eyed hippie, Terrance, who lives next door to me and he drinks leftover cereal milk while watching the stars, on-top his roof. This, this is not normal. Please just accept the fact that normality is like being in the middle of a dance recital without any legs. Normality does not exist.

When you have a Mom and a Dad that love you. A perfect brother or sister. When you, make A's and B's. You have a whole group of friends. Everything is happy go lucky, you and your boyfriend have never had a fight. Yep, your normal then. Looks like we are all wacky loony toons.

Normal is that which is accepted by a majority of the people.
As Samuel Clemens said " When you find you are on the side of the majority, it is time to switch."

S.Freud described normality as an ability to love and work. Although I'm not a hug fan of his I think this is spot on!
