Atta girl. Serve that child some cheese grits, sausage gravy & biscuits, and let her have sweet tea. Screw that gerbil food.

Dang right.
I just had some southern-style stewed okra on Sunday night & it was the best thing on my plate. Made me wish my grandma was still here cooking cornbread & turnip greens, biscuits with red eye gravy & white peas... with pecan pie for dessert.
I loved growing up in the South (GA, AL, SC, FL, & TX) !!

That sounds like something I would do! Don'cha just looooove health freaks? The main thing ingredient in my diet when I was little was sugar and the only health problem I have right now is arthritis in my left wrist from where I broke it when I was 12!

As an aunt thats your right, but its also your sisters right to bring her back for the night when she's up all night with a tummy ache because she's not used to eating foods like that...so just beware.
Nothing wrong with southern fattening food mind you, I'm all for it!

i know that this is going to sound pretty...feminine...but i'm over it...if you slice the celery and carrots longways so you have thin sticks of each you can place them on a piece of white bread that has sweet veggie dip spread on it with the crusts cut off...roll them in the bread like you would do sushi and cut down the middle horizontally and serve...just like sushi...its pretty fun and i know that my nephew and neices enjoy it alot...but on the other hand i have thrown a bag of cheetos puffs at them also...

What are you gonna serve her for lunch?
My suggestion is beans and cornbread. Dont forget the pepper juice for seasoning. Red beans and rice sound good also with chicken.
