I mean, come on! He number 1, the guy has won four in a row. The only thing that surprised me was the fact that it went to the fifth set

I was pretty sure he'd take the title again. I'm not sure if anyone was really spurised.

I was surprised at how close the match was. I shouldn't have been from the way Nadal played the 2 weeks. His game is so fine- I think they will be equal soon. It is surely one of the greatest rivalries in tennis- if not the sports world! I think we have a few more great years of this rivalry, too. If they can both stay healthy!

At the end of the day, Roger Federer is #1 in the world for a reason, and will be the best ever by the time he is done...but I think you can see that Rafael Nadal is #2 for a reason...It is an awesome archrivalry...

Not surprised but I don't think he was in his best form when he played that day. In the final set he played his real game. As for Nadal I felt really bad for him coz he played really well but fell short by a little towards the end. Soon we shall see Nadal win the Wimbledon I guess.

well nadal keeps improving and he pushed federer to five sets

nadal kinda ran outta gas and federer eeked out a win with a couple of lucky bounces and a handful of great shots...that turned out to be the difference in the 5th set

he was nowhere close to his dominating self against nadal

if it was anyone else i would've been shocked if federer lost a set

but nadal is a different breed, he always plays federer tough so i knew he would make a match out of it but I knew federer would win it in grass at wimbeldon

Befor the match started we expected Federer to win. After the fourth set there was alot of doubt. I personally thought (and wanted badly) that Nadal would win, but Federer held his nerves and upped his game a bit. Maybe Nadal was a little fatigued, maybe he wasn't but the big shocker was the intensity of the match. both players deserved it but only one could win it.

Not really. But surprised by Nadal superhuman-kind stamina and his improved grass-court skill. Bravo~~

yeah it was like when michael schumacher used to hard out dominate formula one. It started to get boring. In a few years, the fed will be too old. But no, I wasn't suprised. Nobody was.

I'am sure nadal was surprised as he is stupid enough to think he even had a chance.
