This is silly but Im affected. Advise?

Let me remind you again that this is truly silly. I always listen to my fave radio station and I have my own fave dj. Well.. I saw him once at some events but didnt wanna say hi though i wanted to coz he s out with some celebrites. Dont get me wrong. Im not a young chick having crushes. He s actually ugly lol. But he moved me on radio coz he s the only dj I know who s amusing, funny, warm and shared his insights and personal experience on air.

Geez this might just get sillier, get ready guys... Well you know how you can send msgs to the radio station rite, I mean its common to over here. I sent some msg abt a topic this dj was discussing about on air. He actually replied personally and somehow we began text msging, having friendly talks. He used the radio station's system to text msg me.

Anyways this has been going on for quite a while, when he s on air, during his shift. Pls bear in mind, Im not interested in him romantically. I have a bf. (to becontinued)

Anyways I told my bf abt him already. I guess I felt priviledged. Soemtimes he ll dedicate a song to me on air and said hi on air, it was fun. He called me one day from his office and we had nice short chat. He s sweet and nice and humourous and told me Im his new friend now. My gawd. I sound sillier n sillier now.

To cut a story short, after he learnt of my profession, he asked for lil favour, in designing some stuff for him. Prior to that he asked me out for coffee and stuff which I told him I wasnt free, perhaps some other time. Cut the story short, I aint really have time to help him with his stuff. I dunno y but for some reason he just top contacting. Even when I text the radio station during his shift, he ll not reply back which is strange. I wished I know y. I guess I felt rejected somehow. in a funny way. I have his no. but I dun wannamsg him or anything. I dunno y im affected. I guess I c it as rejection. Whats going on? No, Im not young. thats y i feet silly now.

Huh? dirk-in-oz, I appreciate you have ur opinions, but i think i ll feel the same way if the dj happened to be a female. I told you its not about romance or whatever. I guess fact that he s a male, makes me see this as ego bruiser and rejection.

Hmmm you see he knew I have a bf upon getting to know me. He s sweet enough to say he thinks my bf is a very lucky man, coz it says everything about me. I think eh s attached too... I mean we dont really talk about love you know what i mean. i guess whats what i like about it. we talk about old ppl, the nasty side of world, beautiful food etc... I like the conversations. I dont think he s interested in me though. Seriously why wld he, he interviewed the biggets stars and has lotsa celebs friends.

Simply more than likely DJ's like your radio DJ have so many other fans interested in them . he's probably not even concerned with you since you turned down his advances .....{like you said} you have a boyfriend and you had no intentions of even getting seriously involved with this radio DJ anyways... you answered your own question with your Question silly!!!! hehehe

Well, maybe this DJ, for a brief time, connected to the deeper side of you that perhaps isn't being attended to as properly as you believe it should be.
This side of you is the side that highly rates your true abilities and standards, evident when you describe how the DJ had connected to celebs etc.You perhaps aren't getting that side of you fed properly by current bf. I am not dissing him but noticing maybe that some TLC towards that part of you would help you. It is even better, nay! essential, that that TLC comes from you treating yourself with the respect you truly deserve. Your responsibility. Thank the DJ for bringing you that message to be nice to you...

Im thinking you know that he like you. And he wanted to know you. But the reason he stopped contacting you was because you broke his heart.

See you had all these conversation never specifing you had a bf witch got his hopes up. till he began to like you more.
n-then after you gave him the news it hurts even more than if you told him at the begiming. And it probably maid him feel stupid. So hes probably embaressed to talk to you again.
