Decent people hate war and killing. But it makes them short-sited. The U.S. will be forced out of Iraq by it's own people. And right when they are starting to have a measure of success.
Then the prophecy in Ez 38:5 will take place. The alliance of the Medes and Persians. The Shia in Iraq and Iran. And then we better start watching our Asses! Because they will ally with Ethiopia and Libya, and cut off the trade route via the Suez Canal. Which will disrupt the Worlds economy and start World War III!

The greatest "success" of the far left liberals was getting us out of Vietnam and they want to repeat it again in Iraq. The US winning the Iraq war would be "bad" for the leftists. As far as Ethiopia goes, all we need to do is airdrop some foodstuffs on the opposite side of their country and they'll all run that way.

What defeated AmeriKa in Viet Nam was the same thing that has already defeated AmeriKa in Iraq.

AmeriKans don't seem to know or understand that you can NOT win a war against an IDEA or and IDEAL... In Viet Nam, AmeriKa was trying to defeat THEIR ideas of how they wanted to live and in Iraq, AmeriKa is being defeated because the people in Iraq have been so preyed upon by the AmeriKan military that they have an entirely different set of IDEALS than the AmeriKans do... and no matter how big the ESCALATION (read "surge") that idiot Bush tries to force... AmeriKa has ALREADY LOST THE WAR... the AmeriKans just aren't smart enough to understand it.

I think you have some very pessimistic views of the aftermath of any pullout of US troops. Most Iraqis do not like and will resist any Iranian influence. Similarly Iran and its neighbours do not want to see a collapse of Iraq as the problems could spill over into their own countries.

it's hot prophetic stuff, but as to the application we'll just have to see.
Oh and here's a Youtube film to illustrate your point. Now if this was Wimbledon you could look at the score board, but as it's not, watch the video and let me know who you think is winning at mo.

...and to be fair, extreme authority was what Saddam RIP was also into, only nobody gives a $h&t as long as it's somebody elses Ar£$ that's kicked, infact one ends up on the wrong side of public oppinion what ever happens, cos their opinions are market property.

Actually, America has already lost the war in Iraq. There's no way America's gonna win this war. You can't come to a nation and occupy her land under a silly excuse (WMD''s) and expect the people there to welcome you. Yeah! Especially when these people are Iraqis!

When I was in Israel, I met two officers: One was Polish and the other was Iraqi (both were Jews, of course). The Iraqi looked at the Pole with disgust and told me:"Do you see that pig?! If he returned home and saw his wife sleeping with another man, he'll show disgust and slap his wife twice on her cheek! As for me, I swear that if I saw such a thing I WOULD SHOOT THEM BOTH WITH MY GUN TILL I RUN OUT OF BULLETS!

What the hell drove America into this swamp of endless violence other than the folly of her superior politicians?!
