I am an adament independent. The one thing I have noticed from watching these posts is the fact that most Dems are willing to embrace change/new ideas that could help our country, while most GOPs are so focused on bashing any new idea that hasn't come from the president. GOPs seem content sticking to slogans and concepts conceived by the GOP leadership. I see a complete lack of any independent thought.

This is not meant as an attck. simply stating what I observe here. I guess we could start with Iraq. That's easy. What will the Cons do when most of their party crosses over and admits that we need to get the troops out of Iraq? Will you follow their lead and support the withdrawal, or will you continue what you have been saying for years which is "stay the course"?

It is interesting isn't it. What I really find interesting is that the right is supposed to be the party of God and the Left is supposed to be the party of no God. Yet who wants to help
people that are down. Who worships money and possessions. Kind of ironic.

Let's see. From the GOP: free Enterprise zones in our inner cities, school vouchers, real test standards for schools, tax relief, medicare prescription relief for seniors, Social Security reform (before the system collapses), welfare reform. I could go on. You're simply wrong. Democrats block these measures, and then try an adopt many of them as their own.

Their entire strategy is to bash the President. Doesn't matter what he does, rip him, and rip him good. Where are the Democratic ideas. Stop the war? Ooh, how original. They've controlled Congress for 7 mos. and have done.... The silence is deafening.

Liberals weren't precisely loving while Bush gained. i in my view wish Obama is as Bi-Partisan as he has promised even although his checklist does not instruct that (voted with democrats ninety seven% of the time) purely through fact we are voicing our project does not mean its hate. It rather does not. Attacking somebody for not with the flexibility to form is hate, affirming that our new president purely served in the senate for roughly a hundred and fifty days before asserting his candidacy for president is thoroughly valid. purely through fact we disagree with the guy does not mean its hate.

Interesting.. because in reality the fact is that Democrats will mindlessly follow their puppet masters without a single thought to the damage it could do to the country.

And actually it's kind of amusing to listen to the sheep talk about "new ideas" in reference to the DNC.. since they've had nothing but "we hate Bush" for the last eight years.

What new ideas do you have, pray tell? And which have been bashed?

I'm very interested in hearing about actual examples, rather than vague, unsupported attacks, because use of actual examples means you're not a spittle-spewing ranter.

In order to respond, you'd have to cite some examples. Your question is too general.. :)

I'm not apposed to new ideas, if they make sense.

Status quo.

The ones in power KEEP the power.

The ones with money KEEP the money.

No room for "independent thought."

I don't mind new ideas, but many "new ideas" have ruined this country.
