My period came 5 days late and it came with the worst period pains i have ever had it also only lasted 2 days instead of my usual 4-6 days. My boyfriend says the reason for this could be that because its late it made the period heavier and come out quicker but is this possible and has it ever happened to you or anyone you know before?
My period wasnt even as heavy as it normally is, the week before my period was due i did something with my boyfriend that could have caused pregnancy could this have caused my period to come late (this is the latest my period has ever come)

dont panic. a lot of women have irregular periods - they are very common = especially if you are under the age of 25. our systems are sensitive to stress, food, environment, and many other things.
dont stress out about being pregnant because in my expierence it usually makes things worse and for some reason seems to prolong it longer.

If your period was both late and heavier than usual, it could have been a miscarriage, but this doesn't seem to be the case. I'd wait a month and if it happens again, see a doctor. Please don't fool around with natural bodily functions. On the other hand, if you're around age 40, you may be going into pre-menopause. In either case, please check with your doctor.

I had a period that only lasted two days too but then the next month it made up for what i missed the previous month...lol

Oh boy its happened to me before...it is unexplanable unless by a doctor.The only time i usually get the worst cramps is when i eat unhealthy. And when its short is when i'm very active...but thats happened too and i don't understand it completely. If a period is short it usually is painless.

my period is very irregular. and whenever i get it , its only for two day as well. So yeah its very common. sometimes its regular and sometimes i dont get it for up to 4 months. But you s hould go to your gyn and ask

yes everything that you said is a possibility. also it is normal to have it come a little late.Also i hope you are using protective gear ;)
