The car has about 110,000 miles on it. The things I have replaced on the car have been the transmission, the catalytic converter, it has had the spark plugs changed, the ignition switch, muffler, oil gets changed every 3,000 miles....I know some of these don't have anything to do with the gas, but I just wanted to mention those. What can I do to improve my gas mileage? What other maintenance should I do on my car now that its a little over 100,000 miles? I have a Honda Civic, and it is usually great on gas..but for the last year, it hasn't been.

Oxygen Sensor is good place to start. It basically tells the computer the running of the engine and ECU will respond by adjusting fuel and timing according to maintain factory spec.

Easier thing will be checking your gas cap to see if it is sealed properly. Gasoline is highly combustable and can be easily vaporize and escape to the atomsphere.

Much easier thing will be checking your right foot. Having discipline on your acceleration will be best on your mpg.
