How much is it? Can I get it at drugstore without priscription?

One of my friends is a lifeguard and frequently has problems with yeast infections. She swears by Canesten, which is in the under $20.00 price range and available over the counter. Not only does it work better, she says it's easier to insert than Monistat.

Diflucan is the best medicine for a yeast infection. You have to get a prescription from you doctor but it is well worth it! I cannot use Monistat (which is an OTC drug) because it burns BAD!!! There is one over the counter medicine but I cannot remember the name of it. It starts with an M and it is a very long word. Give that a try if you can figure out what it is.

there are a number of products available at your local drug store, they do not require prescription. Personally I use Monistat cream, use it for one week following pkg instructions.
