Reform Party. Because this country needs reform, big time! We need to get rid of the 2 party system in this country. The only thing they can agree on is their pay raise!

I see that your Centrist group does not take positions, only declare issues for which solutions must be found. So what you are really proposing is left, right, or stand still.

Either of the political parties are capable of governing from the middle. Clinton did. Just because the last 7 years have had a near-horizontal tilt to the right does not mean that the existing parties are not capable of leadership.

How about an American Isolationist Party?

The fusion of Globalism and the Profits-First mentality of corporations will be America's downfall.

Probably not workable. Centrists disagree completely on certain issues. It would be difficult to come up with a party platform.

Good idea. Like you, I am neither a 'dem' or rep'. For lack of a better term, I identify myself as an 'Independant'. Fresh ideas is what this country needs,...not wars that heighten our already astronomical trillion dollar debt.

A thought: When did the word liberal become a dirty word? AND Am I mistaken or not,...is this country meaner than it's ever been?

Sounds good to me. I didn't like Bush the 1st time around and I can't believe he voted in a second time. There is no running worth my vote so far for 2008. Something needs to be done for the good of the US!

Canada use to have the "progressive" conservatives.
If the name was true... how could you not vote for a political party that isn't progressive?

No, I'd rather be correct. Thus, naturally I would want to be right.
