Not all the time :) Actually I re-read all the answers and I'll vote for the one closest to the "correct" answer... or the one that made me laugh.

If everyone gets only one vote, and you believe in your answer, how is that cheating? If you were to create multiple accounts and vote for yourself several times, now that would be cheating. If you were to create voting blocks where you voted for each other's answers regardless of whether they were right or wrong, now that would be cheating! There are a lot of things that people could do, I suppose, that would be unethical and even wrong, but if you take the time to give an informative, reasoned response and then don't vote for it after the individual who posted the question doesn't bother to pick someone, then you just don't believe in yourself. If you take the trouble to vote for best answer and you believe yours is it, you are just saving someone from getting a wrong answer because it was popular I suppose!

Yes. And if someone lets their Q go to voting it's fair game. I only vote for myself once, but if it's a tie the next day I log on with my wife's profile & break the tie.
I really don't consider that cheating.
