The actor looked WAY too young to play Colleen's father. He looked the same age as Alison Sweeney! Why didn't they hire an older actor to play him? He did look remarkably like Jason Cook, who used to play Shawn Brady before the new guy, Brandon Beemer, took over the role.

I agree with you - Pete Brady's actor (though a good actor) was WAY too young to be the father of Colleen - especially when they went into detail about the hard work he did for a living - and the fact that in Ireland, that may years ago, men aged alot faster!

Oh - and I thought the actor DID look like a big and burly Jason Cook...

Oh my gosh I am so glad to see that I'm not the only one that thought that same thing. I was actually pretty shocked when he stood up and said that he was colleens father. I thought he maybe couldve passed for a brother but diffently not a father to her. Out of all the actors out there looking for a job surly the producers couldve picked a better guy to play Pete Brady. Oh and by the way to the second answer (Candra) Pete Brady was never the middle brother on the Brandy Bunch but Peter Brady was. LOL

Well Allison Sweeney (when she is playing Colleen) is playing a much younger character than when she is playing Sami. Also, I remember years ago, Shawn sr., talking about how his parents had started their family young. It was in an episode where he talked about the hardships his family had being young and poor. I am assuming that they were trying to show that his parents had had Colleen at a young age, just a guess.

Yes...i thought so. BUT then again Alison Sweeney is a 30ish woman who was playing a character (Colleen) that was suppose to be VERY young, 18-20.

It's hard to play hookey when you already have the day off. Woohoo! Spring break! Of course, I should probably be grading papers. Or preparing for the class I'm teaching that starts tomorrow. But . . . . nah!

I thought that too. He would have been better playing maybe her brother as they looked the same age.
