The lump is on the left side of the body. Also my sister claims that it looks like there is a gray ball in the lump.

i bought my fighting fish last year around Halloween. the lump isn't that big its like a size of a pea. i'm not sure if its right under the skin or deeper. uh there is no discoloration .

As you are no doubt aware, lumps are all but impossible to diagnose in time to treat and that's assuming it's even something treatable in the first place. A little more information would help if you can answer these questions
How long have you had the fish?
How big is the lump?
Does it look more like something right under the skin or something bigger and deep down in the fish?
Other than the possible gray ball that your sister sees, do you see any other discoloration around the lump?
