It looks like an elderberry only the berries are ripe in June/July and the birds love them. And the berries are bright red, not blue/black like the elderberries. Both trees grow side by side. Are the berries edible? and I would like to see a picture for identification. Thanks, Kat

We would like to see a picture too. Without seeing a picture it is almost impossible to say what it is.
