I always read everyone elses answer before I post ... the asker doesn't wanna see the same answer over and over again, you know? As far as the thumbs up and down go, I give answers that I think are clever, funn or just right on a thumbs up and mean, stupid answers a thumbs down. If they are a repeat answer I don't give them anything.

no, sometimes I stupidly answer and then find out that I read the question wrong and then have to go back and answer again, then when I finally get it right, I do give thumbs up to the ones that had the sense enough to answer what I should have to begin with.It's been a long ,long, week-end Please excuse me! I will however give a thumbs ^ to them. I've got to get it together. You know it''s been a tiresome week for me.

yup i do give thumbs up and if i do not like the answer i use the thumbs down as well. I like reading questions

I answer first, THEN read what everyone else wrote. I don't want what they wrote to influence my answer. That way if someone has the same (or similar) response, I don't feel guilty. If I find out that someone has answered the same, I give them a thumbs up.

I try but many times no other answers are posted when I answer. Many times people are answering at the same time. Sometimes I go down a few pages and read answers and If I come up with a good answer then I will put it down.

i read the answers posted above mine nearly every time (after i've posted my answer). i'll thumbs up anyone whose answer i like, whether it's like mine or not. no one has to think as i do for me to admire THEIR input. i may be P&S's biggest thumbs-upper.

I always read my answers. There not what I want to hear sometimes, however, hearing different ideas about the "subject" may enlighten me on the subject. Since most of my questions are of the Political aspect, I get some answers that make me say WTF and some are exactly what I want and need to hear.
