I thought it was pretty good. I watched all of it, except I had to miss the bottom of the 9th because I had to go to work. I'm very happy with the outcome of it.

Although in past years, I've not been as excited about the All-Star Game, this year I was really looking forward to it for some reason.

During the game itself, I rooted for the American League, although of course I like many National League players. After the National League's early lead, I was thinking that if they were to win, maybe Griffey would snag the MVP with his RBI and outfield assist. But then Ichiro, another favorite player of mine (I voted heavily for both Griffey and Ichiro), got that inside-the-park home run to put the AL ahead, and I got all excited. It was a close game the whole time, so it was always tense, especially in that ninth inning.

I can understand why Pujols didn't play, but it did seem like a shame that he didn't get to play, especially as the lone representative (player, at least) from my favorite team.

Even though the idea that the winning league gets home field advantage in the World Series seems odd, I found that to be a factor in rooting for the AL. As the Cardinals don't seem to be contenders, it seems quite possible that I'll end up rooting for one of the AL teams in the World Series.

Ichiro has been the best player in baseball ever since he came over here. The guy is unbelievable and should be the favorite for MVP this year.

I think the All Star game is a joke now that it determines home field, and I was especially less interested in seeing all the annoying hype about Bonds (probably the most despicable athlete ever) but Ichiro saved the day !

It was an excited ending. Bases loaded, 2 outs, NL down by 1.

I thought it was one of the better games in recent memory. Even had an inside the park HR.

Great Game. Loved Ichiro's inside the park HR.

Screw the AL! Man i thought the NL was gonna make a comeback. What's up with LaRussa not putting in Pujols? I hate Pujols cuz i'm a Cubbie fan but he is arguably the best hitter in the game.

The bottom of the ninth was very exciting. the national league had the bases loaded with two outs and the winning run on second. It just doesn't get better than that.

Rowand instead of Pujols was a travesty! The game was great, except us National League fans are left with a bitter taste in our mouths once again.

It would of been a lot better if LaRussa was smart and used Pujols instead of Rowand with 2 out and the bases loaded.

Not bad, would have been nice to see Okajima pitch (Red Sox). David Ortiz didn't do to well. Not a bad game though. First time in Red Sox history they had 3 pitchers there.
