Which players in the All-Star Game did not play? Don't just type Albert Pujols. I'm looking for the whole list.

Thanks.

The only AL position player to not make an appearance was Michael Young, last year's All-Star MVP. They had four pitchers who didn't play - Bobby Jenks, John Lackey, Hideki Okajima and Gil Meche.

As you mentioned, Pujols didn't play, and he's the only NL position player who didn't get in the game. They had several pitchers who didn't appear, too - Roy Oswalt, Jose Valverde and Brandon Webb.

It is not always possible to get everyone in the game, and not too much should be made of it. Remember, This was a game that could have gone into extra innings and because of the 7-7 fiasco some years back this game could not end in a tie. Both teams had to have players to put in just in case, and Pujols was one of those players.

I can't find anything. I looked tho

There are only two I found

Albert Pujols, Michael Young

If there are more I couldn't find them. But I do know that Pujols was the only NL position player that didn't play.
