Does that mean it will take the Cubs 5 games to win it all, or will they still sweep whichever unfortunate AL team has to face the mighty Cubbies?

Amethyst, are you serious? Fans believing in their team is what jinx's them? You're right, the way to be a better fan of a team is to expect them to lose every game. Sorry, I'll stop having any loyalty to the team, if that will make me a better fan in your opinion. Stop calling yourself a Cubs fan.

how about Soriano last night, gotta love it.
I'm an Indians and Cubs fan, so I wouldn't want them playing each other.
It's obviously going to be tough for either team to get in there, but on the off, off chance they did I wouldn't want to see that match up.
Indians this year Cubs next year. HA here is to hope.

No. they should, although, get it for next 12 months. the rationalization is easy - domicile container benefit ought to bypass back to alternating the way it did for some years until now Selig rigidity fed the "sheeple" who're stupid adequate to think of that it particularly is mandatory to make an exhibition sport have some variety of which means a "answer" to what he theory grow to be the variety of terrible situation - an exhibition sport that led to a tie after each participant have been given to play and the followers have been given a pair of extra innings of loose baseball. and since the NL had domicile container in even numbered years and the AL had it in weird and wonderful years, the NL ought to have it this season.

It is nice to see Cubs fans coming alive. You have a really good team, and you know what, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Cubs in the world series, and this is coming from a Dodgers fan. I believe the Cubs team this year is better than the Cardinals team that won last year. However, beating one of the powerhouse American League teams in four or five games might be a stretch, but good luck to you and your team.

No, The Cubbies and Tigers will go 7 games.
Brandon Inge will hit a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the 17th inning.

Um are you serious??? Why do Cub fans always do that??? That is what jinx's them. I am sorry, don't get me wrong. I am a Cub fan, but I will never say something like anything remotely close to them being in the WS, I used to, thats when they fell flat on their faces. So now I just wait and see lol.

I hate to have to tell you this, but the Cubs won't be going to the world series this year and if they did, they'd lose in 4.
