If a man rapes a women and the women gets pregnant because of the rape and she has an abortion because of the situtation. Should the man be charged with murder?

why does everyone think the women should be charged with murder.you say the child didnt ask to be there but the women didnt ask to be pregnant is such a horrible way either. you never know what you would do until you are the situation I was against abortion.

i think it should be rape and manslaughter, if you want my opinion. he should have to pay for the abortion and all the fees as well
I am TOTALLY 100% hands down AGAINST abortion, but if i got raped and got pregnant for it, i would get one. I saw a guy on here a sec. ago saying she should be charged too...well youre a man, so i guess its alright by you. you will never have to carry a kid. carrying some mans baby that did such a henious thing to you. even if you did keep it out of the goodness of your heart, you'd be so depressed everytime you looked at it.

the man would be charged with rape and the woman may choose what to do about the pregnancy without discussing it with the "father" because of the rape issue. South African law dictates that the rapist has no rights regarding the child nor the decision to abort.
also, the abortion would be legal so there can be no crime of murder.

I would say no he shouldn't be charged with murder.
Yes the man caused the pregnancy but it was the woman that decided to have an abortion and pull the "trigger".
His crime is rape not murder.

Depending on what you believe, you could try for Accessory to Murder but it would never fly in court. The man would be charged with rape.

He should be charged with rape, I feel like neither should be charged with murder because it was not HIS decision to have the abortion and she chose to have one because the dad's not gonna be around and the baby's gonna be the one to suffer with the fact they were conceived thru rape AND they're a bastard. Sometimes you HAVE to do what you have to do.

Well, after he is castrated for the rape, If he is not charged with murder, he should at least be charged as an accomplice.

No he won't be charged with murder since an abortion is a legal medical procedure. But he will be charged with rape and assault and go to jail for that crime.

He should be placed in jail, not for murder, but for rape obviously. If you're pro-life you'd probably say that the one who performed the abortion should be thrown in jail for murder.
