i guess you mean born in this life, here on earth right now, as to memories, i had one as a little child, still retain most of it today, i thought as a child it was a movie i saw, till i realized as a teen, they didnt do movies like that back in the "old days" when i was little, plus my emotions connected with it where that of a grown up, most of it was just daily life type things, with a few events that seemed major,,, as to where we are, if we are given an option to come back or not, i dont think any of us can really know, till we get there, but no, i dont think death is that bad, either we wont esist, and hence wont know, or else we will and will move on to another place, either way, many have done it before, and will after us, so we are just a part of it all
ps: of course, i am in no hurry to experience it, and i really think the focus of this life should be on living it, not where we are going after it, though its natural to want to think and plan, just like a working person does for retirement

I know this isn't quite what you're looking for, but a cute story for a memory of being born. When I told my 5 year old son we were expecting another baby, he told me he remembers being born. (note: we didn't discuss beforehand the birthing process). When asked to explain, he told me it was warm, very tight, and asked "why did they pull me out so fast? it was cold" (he was born by C-section, so he was sort of yanked out). And he said it was too bright, then he put his hands up in fists to his eyes to show me (just how a baby would try to cover his eyes). Right now he's 16 and doesn't remember that.
I don't believe traditional death (nothingness) is what were were before being born. We've always been alive, and always will be. What we call death is how we live in another place, another experience, one that is infinitely more rewarding. We don't remember it at this moment, but someday we will. And death isn't bad at all.....it's going home. (Not that I'm done here yet with this life.....)

I swear I remember falling through space, felt like I was raining little pieces but staying together like a slinky tumbling through space - I knew it was me. While I was growing up, if really sick or scared, I could shut my eyes and remember that falling feeling - I am older now and have not had that experience in many years - I like your question, helps me to remember.. curious. I don't think death is a bad thing - this is probably the illusion and what we think of as death is probably the real life..
