~~~~~~~~~~def. not an emotion though it may evoke emotion when an action shows great respect
. it is a social value that is not so endangered as undervalued.
many people don't respect themselves and I believe that is the under pinning of the problem.
it all starts with parenting that shows respect and teaches empathy by modeling~~~~~~~~~~~ too many narcissistic parents raising narcissistic children. the true basis for respect is love and that is an action.
It is an endangered social value. People are not respecting each others, rights, differences, or values anymore. It is all about that person and their beliefs wants and values.
I respect everyone and when it is not returned I tend to believe it is the individual and not everyone because if you pay it forward give respect you will get it from most people.
