Seven Levels: The OM Mantra is a roadmap for sadhana, spiritual practices (written as either AUM or OM). It is not for the person who seeks only the shallow waters of spiritual life, but rather for those who strive to realize in direct experience the depth of the Absolute Reality. There are four main levels of consciousness outlined in the OM Mantra, along with three transition levels, which is a total of seven levels. Each of these is experienced on the inner journey of meditation and contemplation.

Don't think there is any secret Mantra so to say. But acquisition of knowledge certainly takes an almost similar path in different individuals.

Type One Individuals: For these, it starts with suffering; followed by its analyses; followed by Questions; followed by search for answers. Knowledge, about self and otherwise is gained in the process. The key in this trajectory is 1) whether an individual analyses the suffering and looks for causes when he/she suffers or sees suffering. 2) What questions are raised after the analysis; because the knowledge one gains is in the process of searching for answers to these questions. With philosophers and thinkers; mostly the questions that are raised are metaphysical and of existence.

Type Two Individuals: These i guess are more blessed; the desire and hunt for knowledge in them is not caused by suffering; personal or otherwise. They have an inherent yearning towards the larger questions and strive to find answers for these. one example that i can think of is Tolstoy; Buddha is also another excellent example.

What is knowledge? Tell me please. Do you consider the information elevated to a state is knowledge. Knowledge is a 'stored procedure' created by a person who has understood the world, his 'now' as that. You are a different entity...you are not him. You have to feel the knowledge in your own perception, only from now during your living at this moment. Knowledge of the past has no meaning as conflict comes while you are doing that. Thoughts influence your mind, your understanding of your past and others' past come into play. Enjoy the 'knowledge' of your world at this point of time. You cannot 'gain' it. Gaining means storing into past which is non-existent for you. Why to spend your energy on something which has not arrived. Enjoy the life with choiceless awareness. Knowledge influences your understanding your world in your way.

The secret mantra is - "Engage Fully With Life". The only way to gain true knowledge is to go seek it for yourself, and for that you have to engage fully with all life experiences and look at what each of those have to offer you.

Oh, there is no big secret.
Keep the antenna wide open, remain alert (without being tense), and most importantly, keep the mind as vacant as possible, to just allow the perception at its best possible level.
All thoughts that occur in mind are sort of conclusions. Note that adults find it more difficult to learn than children.
And, alertness is usually sharp only when we are tense due to some anxiety causing situation, so we have to practice being alert and relaxed at the same time !
Best wishes.

The only road to gaining knowledge is to study. If you want wisdom, study with an open mind and look to others for their beliefs. Ponder the answers and you will come up with knowledge. Maybe in time, your knowledge will become wisdom.
