goth. that she's goth.
how chic it is would depend on the girl itself too.. if she was ugly and the look didnt suit her, i would say, eeyucks.

It's a fad, not necessarily Gothic. Everyone tries to be different in some way. When I was in high school, I used colored hair spray to paint my hair blue and gray. Our school colors as support to the football team. My English teacher said, I thought you were so nice and quite. All I could think was what does that have to do with anything? People look at things differently. Be yourself.

I'd think "OK she has black finger nails." I don't think that black fingernails have the GOTH connotation that it used to have. I've seen J.Lo, Beyonce, and Lyndsay Lohan with black nails and none of them are Goth. And to answerer #1, why does she have to be lacking a sense of style because she "followed a trend" of wearing black on her fingernails? I wore black pumps to work today, does that mean I'm following a trend because, other females wear black pumps? No it just means I chose to wear black pumps today as did she decide to paint her fingernails black. If you are pondering painting your nails black go for it, who cares about others opinions.

Trying to make a statement and not a good one. Or she forgot to take it off from a costume party. Better than when you see a guy with black painted nails. EEWWW!!!

black is an exceptional shade, as long as you do not positioned on like each and every black then human beings might think of you're emo or goth or in spite of. i've got additionally considered rather preppy women with black nailpolish, it purely relies upon the form you dress and stuff climate that's goth looking or not. yet i does not project approximately it, if that's what you like then who cares what others think of.

A girl who has a different kind of taste. I respect that kind of indifference! But it would depend on whats shes wearing. It has never done much for my nails though...
