The largest spidrs are the Theraspid and Mygalomorph tarantulas or 'bird eating' spiders; such as the Goliath spiders another answerer mentioned. There are some spiders so small, that the live on the eyeballs of other spiders in a symbiotic relationship by eating parasites that infect the larger spiders.

The most deadly spider is a question open to debate.
Some say the Australian funnel web spiders. Others, the African and American Brown Recluse spiders, and others the Brazilian Wandering spiders, which often find their way into victims' clothing or footwear.

I think the black widow spider toxin may be one of the most deadly, but this spider has tiny fangs, and cannort inject much venom. That is why the funnel web spiders may be more deadly, because they have very large strong fangs.
On this basis, the most deadly spider might be the Australian tree dwelling funnel web spider (Hadronyche); as large as a small tarantula, but as poisonous as a funnel web, with huge fangs. Fortunately, these are rainforest spiders, and hardly ever come into contact with humans.
Incidentally, the funnel webs are unusual, in it is the male spider which is far more toxic than the female.

I think with the most poisonous spider, it's a toss up between the funnelweb and the wandering spider *both freaky looking*
The largest is the Goliath spider and the smallest one is the only one that I can live with lol. Nah, I don't know what it is, I'd look it up, but they insist on showing pics of them most of the time.

The smallest fully-grown spider in the world is the male of the species Patu digua (which hails from Borneo), which has a body length of just .37mm. That's smaller than the head of a pin!

The smallest known species of Tarantula is Aphonopelma mojaviensis, the legspan of adults of both sexes are under 5/8 inch (1.6 Cm)!
