If you are stressed, especially at work you would become forgetful and disorganised. If you are suffering from depression, this might make you feel this way also.
If you are not normally like this, it would be wise to get a health check, low B12/anaemia can also cause these symptoms which can be easily rectified.

(ANS) this is just my opinion based on my knowledge of being a counselor and working with individual clients.

OK! being forgetful or disorganized ( or disorganized because your forgetful) could be due to being resistant to thinking about something, NOT wanting to face the reality of a situation. Or feeling hurt by something or someone.

The more we push painful thoughts and ideas out of our consciousness the more we bury them deep down in our unconscious (i.e. out of sight out of mind,etc) the more these feelings and thoughts take on a life of their own. These unfinished ideas & emotions, these unsolved issues DON'T go away but come back at us when we least expect it. Your disorganization is yet another symptom that such issues have not yet been sorted out, these loose ends get in the way of living our lives in a more organized logical way.

**What we don't want to face, what we cannot face we bury in our shadow bag, this is a metaphor for the place we hide parts of our real self. The parts we don't feel able to let others see. So all our rage, anger, hate, frustrations, envy, anxieties, fears these are what we put in our shadow bag. The more we fill up our shadow bag the heavier the burden of the bag, we drag it behind us as we move through life, much like a ball and chain so we are burdened by the things we haven't sorted out or resolved with others.

**EVERYONE, has a shadow bag. Being human means we have a shadow. Just as the sun casts a shadow so humans have a shadow.

**The more you can accept your real feelings and show them appropriately, the more you can resolve situations with other people at work & else where the less goes into your bag, the liter the burden. etc (hope that makes sense?).
