I have played Final Fantasy X and XII and I want to buy another. I don't want one really old. I want one with good graphics and story line. So, other than X and XII, I want to know which one is the best?

final fantasy x-2 - PS2
final fantasy vii: dirge of cerberus - PS2
final fantasy ii - PS2
although i do have and love final fantasy x. if u want, you could get the movies. (they're the advent children kinds.)

VII is the best. It isn't as fancy as X and XII because it is a PS1 game, but it had by far the most unique and interesting characters, the best plot, and the most versatility. IX was pretty good, too, but is also older. If you don't want one that is old, though, then you are out of luck. X is the oldest one made for the newer systems, and XII is the most recent. None of the other ones between those two were that good.

The two Final Fantasy games often considered the best are Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy III (you'll see it as Final Fantasy VI in Japan and on American rereleases) for the SNES. I recommend you play FF7, seeing as you're a fan of the PS2 Final Fantasies. After that definitely check out III/VI.

I really like Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 (on PS2). I think that it's the only FF game on PS2 that has two parts. Although, it's sad...

i liked 9 alot if you're looking for something to play on a home console, 7 was also good
my favorite of all time was iv which you can play on the gba, but also has a new version coming out for the ds
