LMAO! For a long time, I believed that as true. It wasn't until I got older & started to understand what was really going on. John was ready to go in a different direction while, the rest of the guys, had other ideas. I never "understood" Yoko but, John did & that's all that matters. Besides, John wasn't killed because of Yoko. He was killed because he threatened the government's control over the masses. I have to give Yoko some credit, she has kept John's memory alive in every way she can!

I guess I'm one of the few that like the Beatles. Their album Let It Be - Naked was voted the best album of it's time. The day the music died was about the death of Buddy Holly. I don't think this is what you were looking for in an answer though. Someone said in these answers that credit was due Yoko for keeping John Lennon's memory alive, but I think she probably does it for the money. But then I'm a little jaded.

Nope actually John just wanted to try new things ( even he felt that the beatles were over rated) She sure CAN'T sing!!! The day the music died( American Pie by Don McClean) actually refers to Buddy Holly, but In my opinion the day the music died was when John Bonham died, it was the end of Zeppelin!

Almost, but not quite. Roseanne's seemingly intentional mangling of "Star Spangled Banner" hit a far more sour chord within me. You folks be the judge.

This is the best question in this category today!
I was looking for a way to express my disappointment for the appearance of this woman in Lennon's and Beatles' life. Music would definitely be different today if they had never met. Maybe Lennon would still be alive. Who knows what Fate does... Maybe...
