my husband and i are separated and he decided to refiance can he take my name off the properties without me knowing

He can neither re-finance the home without your consent nor take you off the deed. He would have to forge your name to the various documents to do that and that would require the complicity of outsiders such as notaries, loan officers, closing agents, etc.

Don't sign ANYTHING without consulting with YOUR attorney first!

Not without your signature on a deed granting him the interest you have so that he can provide a mortgage to the lender showing he now has 100% interest in the property.

Having your name on the property and having your name on a mortgage or loan are two different things. If your name is on the title/deed to the property, then that's all that matters and it is still yours.

No, he cannot. He CAN take your name off the new mortgage involved, if he so chooses, but you cannot lose your ownership interest in property without your agreement and signatures.

No he cant, but put a caveat on the property. He cant refinance with out your signature
