it doesn't sound like a conflict to me, he gave money to you out of good will, you didn't asked him for it.

Keep it. The buyer gave you the extra $10.00 for your trouble. That was very nice of them, and it was also very understanding of you to be patient with the buyer. So don't feel guilty -- you didn't do anything to twist the buyer's arm. Take the money and buy new school clothes for your son.

Keep it- It's yours now!
The money was given to you- you didnt request the additional payment. It seems like a goodwill jesture- The buyer obviously wanted the item & appreciated the fact that you waited for them to sort out their paypal account!

It is a little unethical but he did give it to you. Consider it a tip. But if you still feel bad about it, send it back. Or perhas give it back in the form of a gift, such as a $10 gift card or whatever.

It was freely offered, not a mistake, keep it. If it was a mistake on the other person's part then yes you would have to send it back. But this was a kind gesture, accept it, say Thank You.

People don't give you tips so you can give it right back to them. I would've done the same thing if I had been the customer and all you should do is accept the tip gratefully and use it to your liking.

You should send the money to me as soon as possible and I'll take care of it. You also should add $10.00 for my trouble.

Keep it, you shouldn't turn down a gift, especially a gift that doesn't come with strings attached.
