This is the VOA Special English Education Report.
Graduate students often work as teaching assistants while they study in the United States. Teaching assistants may get money or get to take classes for free, or both.

Teaching English as a foreign language is a good way to get out of the rat race, and see a little bit of the world. There is a big demand for native English teachers, and the classes can be small, informal and fun.A TEFL or equivalent would be helpful and relatively easy to get.You could move to a different country every six months or so,and live with and meet locals.Good luck , anyway.

the Netherlands does, but I havent got any more information on it.
Go to google.nl and type in "teaching assistant" and click on the option (under the typing window) "pagina's uit Nederland" and see what comes up, you should look for University's like in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Den Haag (just type university of Amsterdam *etc* ) , there are also international schools in the Netherlands. Again Google should provide you with lots of answers.

Universities in the US have Teaching Assistants, but they are almost always graduate students. There are also teaching assistants in primary and intermediate schools, but these are sometimes volunteers or parents.

The US does. They are usually going for their Master's and PhD and teach college classes.
