That's because they have not seen anything come out of it. There is no politician who qualifies to be a role model . There is no inspiration. Besides the education system doesnot show real picture to the students and doesnot promote debates on national policies. Youngsters are driven towards cramming the curriculum and scoring better in exams. So they do not understand politics and don't show any interest either. Now they are also driven by the artificail world of movies and fashion.

I am a youngster and I AM interested in Politics. I wanna change the way this country is run. I wanna kick the corruption outta the country. I want India to be a super-power, even more powerful than China.
But at the end of the day, there are limitations. Its a crime to do anything good in India. Do u know what the repercussions of being a true politician are? At best, you will be a regular visitor to jails. At worst, the fcukin politicians will get you killed.
We are not at war against our corrupt politicians. We are at war with our own COUNTRYMEN.
We are youngsters. We have a long way to go. We have to support our families. And in all that, we have a bloody ridiculous political system that we havta live it. Its not that we dont try. We do. But just not enuf.
We wait for a saviour who'll get us outta this ruckus.

cause old people call us youngster. On a serious note though its because its boring and not interesting at all. If you had a choice to watch the debates of politicans or go to a party. most people would choose the party. Also young people don't feel that their vote is taken into account or that we actually have an opionons. and sometimes you neither like the issues or the canidates so it brings you no interest. but now a days more young people are begining to get interested in politics.

IN POLITICS U R NOT FREE TO DO THINGS U WANT. BEFORE TAKING ANY ACTION, U HAVE TO ASK & TAKE SUGGESSIONS OF 100S OF PEOPLE.
A PART FROM THAT, POLITICS IS CONNECTED WITH GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS. SO IF THE POLITITION WANTS TO DO THE WELFARE SO U KNOW THAT GOVERNMENT PROCESSS IS TOO SLOW. N IF HE WANTS TO CHANGE THE PROCESS, SO IT TAKES A LOT OF TIME. TODAY'S GENERATION LIKES FAST RESULTS. THAT'S WHY IT DOES NOT WANT TO JOIN POLITICS.
