I have atm got quite bad acne on my chest/shoulder/back area.

I was on a dose of antibiotics for my bad skin (facial) and then began to use the Pill too for the same reasons. Now I stopped taking the antiB's cus after a break my skin was fine, but carried on with Dianette

However neither medication has been able to help with the above mentioned area. Sometmes it becomes inflamed and I have blackheads & spots. Gross I know but that's why I'm here, to see if you know any products or natural ways to help me.

And yes I drink plenty of water and loads of fruit&veggies and get fresh air daily....hmmm?

btw I live in the UK so please suggest products avail here. I kinda want it sorted for the summer (everyone in the UK knows the summer's a bit crud thus far, eh?)

(Also, the Dianette I take, they are contraception right? So I could never get pregnant while on them...?? My Doctor jokingly said "Now don't be getting pregnant" while my mother was there...but really...)

Yes, Dianette is a birth control pill. As for the issue with the areas of acne, one thing I did for my acne is take prenatal vitamins even though I have never been pregnant. I started taking them for a different reason but found that it helped my skin and nails. You can also find specialty vitamins that are designed for the skin, nails, and hair if available there in the UK that might be able to help.

Another thing that could be causing the acne issue is that of a hormone imbalance. Some types of hormone imbalances can cause acne to occur in areas such as on the back.

I would also recommend consulting a dermatologist (doctor who treats diseases and disorders of the skin) to see what other ideas they might have that can be of help to you.
