He's been out of office for almost 7yrs. Did his lack of moral character keep him from doing a good job as president? Is it to take the focus off that bumbling idiot that is in office now?

It's definetly an attempt to take focus away from Bush's glorious ineptitude as commander-in-chimp...erm, cheif.

I don't know. I asked a similar question here a few days ago. The responses I got were that the repubs and conservatives were just trying to point out how hypocritical dems and liberals were of accusing Bush of things Clinton did. It struck me in so doing, they hold Clinton up as some sort model against which they wish to gauge Bush's performance.

Of course, they don't have the faintest idea how anyone responded to what Clinton did, since this yahoo answers is a rather recent innovation.

It's my impression that we ought to focus on the guy who's currently in power and not try and justify his actions based on someone who's not. I suppose we could compare him to James Buchanan but that would be pretty much pointless.

Because a significant portion of the ills the USA has had during the Bush administration have been a direct result of the lassez faire policies and attitudes of the Clinton administration. If Bill had taken care of business during his time in office, perhaps such niceties as 9/11, the various accounting scandals, and the power grid failures would not have happened.

Probably because there have been no significant Democrats to knock around lately. We're bored with the same ol' same ol' and have to dig back in our memories to a time...

But seriously...it's because Hillary is running and we could have him back...just giving us all a little reminder

He's the leader democrats liked. It's easy to bash someone so evil in comparison to Bush who at least tries to be noble and honest. To be fair his political whore of a wife takes her share of bashing too.
