Posting - the act of entering items into a journal or ledger.

Journalizing - the act of posting items (Debits and Credits) into the general journal (ledger). Journalizing is not a term I have heard used often.

these are accounting terms.
journalizing -- entering journal entries in journal
journal -- every business transaction is entered ; in the form of journal entry
example -- furniture a/c ----------------dr 5000
to cash a/c 5000
the above one is the journal entry it explans that furniture has been brought for cash rs.5000
posting -- seperate book r maintained for posting called ledger accounts.
ledger accounts-- in this accounts thes journal entries r posted.
this account contains 2 sides i.e, debit& cridit.
