To get fainted intentionally is not an easy task.In films or drama it might be easy to show it , but in actual life one gets fainted only due to one or more of the following reasons :
- Death of very close relative/friend;
- Heavy lose in the business;
- Sudden Mal-functioning or non functioning of some vital part of the body;
- Attack of epilepsy;
- Sudden rise or fall in blood pressure ;
- Being hit by speeding vehicle etc.
As ,it is not easy to pretend any of these symptoms in real life, I do not think , one can get oneself fainted.

^Common Causes of fainting.
Fainting may occur while you are urinating, having a bowel movement (especially if straining), coughing very hard, or when you have been standing in one place too long. Fainting can also be related to fear, severe pain, or emotional distress.
A sudden drop in blood pressure can cause you to faint. Your blood pressure may drop suddenly if you are bleeding or severely dehydrated. It can also happen if you stand up very suddenly from a lying position.
Certain medications may lead to fainting by causing a drop in your blood pressure or for another reason. Common drugs that contribute to fainting include those used for anxiety, high blood pressure, nasal congestion, and allergies.
Other reasons you may faint include hyperventilation, drug or alcohol use, and low blood sugar.
Less common but more serious reasons for fainting include heart disease (such as abnormal heart rhythm or heart attack) and stroke. These conditions are more likely in persons over age 65 and less likely in those younger than 40.

Ummm, since this is a psychology forum, I have to approach it from another angle. Why would you want to make yourself faint in the first place? Is it a sort of masochistic game that you're trying to experiment with? Or perhaps you feel that women should faint in certain situations (just like in the 19th century)?
Fainting for real is definitely not advisable to anyone, because of the possible injuries involved. Perhaps faking a faint would be a better option...

We were just talking to our 7yo son about this yesterday....
In my husband's school days, kids would hyperventilate on purpose by breathing in and out real fast and shallow, and then squeeze themselves around their ribcage somehow and that would do it.
In my school days, kids would find pressure points at their throat/neck, like where the aorta goes up through there, and press on those points and black out.
I've done neither, and the whole point in telling our son this was of course, for an example of what NOT to do.

you can't, it's a instinct or an involuntary response to a certain unpleasant stimuli.
Fainting usually happens when your blood pressure drops suddenly, causing a decrease in blood flow to your brain. there should be a cause like:
Heat or dehydation
Emotional distress
Standing up too quickly
Certain medicines
Drop in blood sugar
Heart problems
Try to be in any of these situations and then faint as much as you want. :)

It can be done, we did it as children, before we were smart enough to realize how dangerous it is. I won't tell you, and I hope you don't get the answer. I'm not saying this to be a b***h, it's just that it is dangerous. If you don't get enough blood to your brain, you could end up brain damaged.
Peace

You could do like children do during a temper tantrum. Hold your breath until you pass out.

I have made myself do it when I was young and dumb, so it can be done. I also hurt my ear really bad when I fell too. I convulsed before waking up and my friends were really scared. I don't remember convusing but my ear hurt. It's DUMB.
