Is there any move to bring out an updated English Grammar?

We have been studying Wren & Martin's High School English Grammar for the past half-a-century.
Has any one brought out a better Grammar book, updating the modern use of English vocabulary?

I like the book "Writers Inc" compiled by Patrick Sebranek, Verne Meyer, and Dave Kemper. Publ: 1996 by Write Source. DC Heath and Company, Lexington MA.
