Dark, leafy and crispy. I especially like those greens with a slightly bitter aftertaste because I know they are soooo good for me. Of course, I like them with a nice tangy dressing which is not so good for me, but maybe it will all balance out - sigh -

Two ways.
Fresh and crispy with beans, corn, tomatoes and a spicy dressing.
Home cooked collared greens with garlic and a hint of mustard. Best with a side of blackened catfish and mashed potatoes.
Oh, three I guess, fresh spinach salad with mushrooms and honey mustard dressing.

It depends what green
some i eat raw
others i lightly steam
or some need to be steamed longer
or some go in a stir fry
but i love my greens yum!!! :)âºâ»â¥

Turnip greens? mmmmmmmmmmmm God I love turnip greens. Now you have to come visit the south Moon and see how we southerners cook 'em! You have to boil 'em with bacon and season them with spicey spice spices!! The spicier and the meatier the better! Then when they are ready to serve..... pour on the vinegar and dig in. Oh my gosh they are the best things ever!!!! mmmmmmmmm

Mostly raw if leafy or carrots, if anything is cooked, half raw - except for potatoes and pumpkin. Salads I like with olive oil and lemon. And I love tabbouleh with anything at all.

I like sald with spinach leaves and cherry tomoatoes and feta with dressing or I like spinach cooked and mixed in my food or served on the side with garlic and butter.

Seriously, I love salad. I mix with tomato, salad dressing, other veggies that are in my fridge, cheese and sometimes bacon bits. mmmm!
