I have played soccer with this girl for 3 years and over that time we have became very close friends. Anyway at the begining of the year her best friend, who also played soccer shifted states. She was really upset and every since then she changed. When i first met her she was one of the loudest people ever, she laughed at everything, always smiled and was alway having fun. But ever since her freind left she doesn't speak unless she is spoken to and never wants to hang out i swear i havn't ssen her smile or laugh yet. Even her game has gone down, she once use to be the best player and now costs us the game I have spoken to her about it, about 3 months ago she just shrugged amd said nothings wrong. But latley i am getting really worried because everytime she eats she vomites, she has lost heas of wieght and has suspisous scares on her wrist and thighs. I think she is hurting herself in several ways and i just want her to be okay but i if i said anything i would feel like i am interfering

For me the girl was not ok, like what you said ever since her close friend shift state he become depressed, the problem is in that girl, may be the two of them have relations and no official break up... hurting herself..? if you are a normal person you will not hurt yourself, in this case she is hurting herself in several ways... maybe the lost of the guy, really upset her...

Bring all this to the attention of a responsible adult--perhaps the soccer coach and have him/her talk to her parents. There does certainly seem to be a problem, and you never know what is going on outside the soccer field. There could be problems at home, with family who knows. But it certainly sounds like this girl needs intervention, and she needs someone to care enough TO interfere. Talk to someone who can approach her and her family. Before something serious happens.

GOOD LUCK!!

You need to interfere. These are very serious symptoms you mention. It sounds like she is trying to hurt herself. You have an OBLIGATION to tell someone. Say "friend, I am worried that you may do something to hurt yourself. If you don't tell someone, I have to." That may be enough to get her to seek counseling. If she still says don't worry, tell a school counselor or parent. She may kill herself or someone else and you will be responsible if you don't do something. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE IF YOU DON'T DO SOMETHING.

You need to speak with a counselor or trusted adult about this. She is probably very depressed and needs help. Don't wait too long, she may really hurt herself.

You must interfere!!! Talk to her mom or dad tell them your concerns, She sounds depressed. Depression does not go away over night and is very serious, even life threatening. I ave been there, it is a scarry place to be.
