Hello - This is for those outside the US as I am wondering about the United States' ability to mend fences with our global neighbors after the next election.
So, I'll ask a hard question.
Would it matter to you if our next President were a White Woman or a Black Man? Would one or the other be more likely to be successful in bringing our communities together after the wreck that has been made by the current administration?
I know it should not matter, but recent questions I've read here lead me to believe that racism and gender inequality may be more or less prevalent in countries and societies other than ours. So, I am curious.
Does your country have societal mores that would make it difficult for one or both?
Oh, and if you do not mind doing so, please tell me where you live - even just the country. Thanks !

I'm middle England - doesn't matter what gender or race. Usually don't need brains but Presidents or PMs often have some. Clinton was exceptional, whatever else he was, his memory and ability to real off info. was phenomenal. They all need good PR and advisers. I think that's why Arnold Swarzenneger was successful - and he's governor of an area bigger than the UK.

i'm a conservative, yet I truly do no longer care approximately race or gender. i won't be able to stand Hillary. i in my opinion, truly like Obama. he's an inspiring guy. he's purely way incorrect on the topic concerns. in spite of the undeniable fact that, if the Republicans do no longer end attempting to alter into liberals and or they are able to't arise with a candidate who can beat Hillary, i circulate to vote for Obama to maintain her out and supply the Republicans a holiday . Do you already know that if Hillary is in place of work the comparable 2 households could have controlled the Whitehouse for twenty-four years? this is 1 / 4 of a century!

No. It just depends on the politics they'll choose.

As for the White Woman, that will me make wonder if the USA are going to be some sort of monarchy - a President from the same family of a previous one - but that holds for the current White Man as well. It seems to be an increasing trend; the communist leader of N.Korea is the son of the previous one (communist monarchy?); and the wife of the current president of Argentina is the candidate president for the next election.

A side note: Condoleeza Rice is a black woman, and she is Secretary of State, that is she is in charge of foreign affairs. Foreign problems have nothing to do with her being black or woman. Nor the fact she is black/woman has somehow lessened those problems with current administration.

It really depends on majority rules, but as for me I really don't care if they are white, black, female, or male. As long as they have great leading skills and don't mess up our country. If they have good ideas on how to make our country a better place that's a big YES for me.

I'm in the United States of America.

C'mon folks give us Americans a chance to make things right. In the interim make sure you keep reminding us where we need to change things in our interactions with your countries so we can take that into consideration when we vote. And we will offer to you our own thinking from time to time.

I dont care what gender or race your next president is.

Just as long as they remember to insert a brain into the next one.

They seem to have forgot to do it with your current one.
