You are right to some extent, however if we carefully observe, the one who holds the values is the one who is REALLY Successful. And successful does not mean a short period achievement.

People generally assume that they cannot hold on values and progress well in this competitive world, but it is not right. The one is value based can gain a special significance and long lasting results. If the inner self is enriched with values then naturally there is peace, confidence, satisfaction, clarity, maturity... etc.

The only thing required is a bit of courage and determination. Also one needs to know how to balance the situation with the power of values.

Imagine that we are in a town where a dangerous disease is spreading wildly affecting everyone. It is found that it is because the people over there had not taken some specific precautions so the virus has attacked their body.... At that time imagine that you are not affected so deeply by that disease ... then what will you do? You will take necessary precautions to protect yourself and yet you balance your activity in moving in the same town.


Similarilry there is a flood of negativity in the outside world, but we need to protect our own self from the influence of negativity so that we can become a practical house of value implimentations.

Grossly it seems that it is difficult to hold values, but when once we keep ourselves empowered and positive then naturally we know how to use values.

Of all, the one keeps up values receives blessings from others and from God almighty .... every action of ours is recorded with our spirit which in turn will produce relative results of good or bad.

So do continue to hold values and do not allow the thought that it is difficult.. just think that it is essential.
