Last Sundays game Phillies vs Rockies. Only one guy on the Rockies team helped out while the whole Phillies team did.

Pretty pathetic that they wouldnt help their own grounds guys .
Phillies have class.

To LEE: If he broke his leg during that it would suck. But knowing what kind of guy Ryan Howard is he would put his self above others.

And to that person who thinks Philadelphia has no class. THE PLAYERS ARENT FROM PHILADELPHIA SO YOUR HATRED FOR A CITY YOU NEVER BEEN TO SHOULDNT SPILL ONTO THE PLAYERS AS THEY ARE NOT FROM PHILLY.

It is kinda sad when you see the visiting team going out to help the grounds crew, but not the home team.

Maybe there might of been a reason, but for PR purposes, if there will be any, the Rockies wont look as good, and the Phils will look a heck of a lot better.

Yeah really great.
Don't you know the Phillies owners were having nightmares the entire time. The grounds crew get paid to do the tarp not the players. How would you feel if Ryan Howard broke his leg doing someone else's job.

Well actually people did care. They made a huge deal of it on ESPN all day. They talked about it on 1st and 10, Around the Horn, PTI, and those are only the ones I watched. Even the Phillies pitcher helped out.

I saw that on ESPN and all of the Rockies players were back in the clubhouse. When the camera flashed to the Rockies dugout no one was there. The one Rockies player that was left behind did come out. The situation was well under control and not a big issue.

That may be the first time anyone has ever mentioned Philadelphia and class without inserting "has no" in between...

And the fact the Phillies didn't want the rainout, so...

It was good of them, but isn't anything really special.
