My guide to happiness begins with an acknowledgement of the fact that I simply do not know what happiness is, as more I think about it more illusive it becomes in my mind.

It is common experience that if we want to have a look at an object of inquiry we put that object in front of our eyes, some appropriate distance away. So lets assume that I am able to see happiness, or in other words know what happiness is to my, then I will have to get out of happiness first, to become unhappy – as soon as I think that I know what happiness is I am out of it.

The second step along my way of being happy is in the acceptance of the fact that it is not for me to know, all the time, when I am going to be happy, as happiness might have unexpected shapes, unfamiliar forms and unexpected realisation into life; this is why happy moments in life often come as a surprise.

I am therefore ready to face whatever life brings into my life. I try my best and maintain my hope.

The third step along my happiness is that I expect it to be in a good stead. I expect that at this stage what I worked for, strived hoped for would become reality. But still do not know exactly what it would be and when it will happen, besides I have few more steps in my feet.
