The United States is not demanding that either country implement our laws. They are trying to help set up a civil government with a constitution and laws based on the customs of each nation respectively. Your "demanding to have their laws implemented or be killed" is prevaricative nonsense.
The people of the this country will never implement any law based on Islamic custom. While we are gradually becoming a secular society, our laws are based on Judeo-Christian tradition. On of the things we don't do is bury men up to their knees and then stone them for adultery, as recently happened in Iran.

Good grief...no one is killing people in Iraq and Afganistan for not implimenting US laws. Where do you get this stuff?
Shariah law is abusive to women, pure and simple. If you think it is the way to go, then move your sorry butt over to where it is "the" law and leave those of us who like to see women's faces alone!
The US is trying to encourage laws that treat all men and women as equals, that encourage free speech and freedom of expression, and otherwise pull these people into the modern world. If you want to follow the edicts of Mullahs, move to the middle east; if you want to live in a society where you can speak your mind and wear anything, or nothing at all, then you want to be where the laws allow you to do so. We don't kill people who want to change their religion...but as I recall, earlier this year, a man was sentenced to death for converting from Islam to Christianity in Afganistan...under Shariah law...so don't talk to me about Shariah law...you want it, then get the heck out of the US!

As far as I know the only conflicts with Shariah Law in America are:
1) Clitorectomy is illegal.
2) Mulitiple marriages are illegal.
3) Honor Killings are illegal.
Other than that, you can be as Muzzie as you want to be in the USA. Have you not been here?

Democracy is not a "Christian" law. Democracy was invented by the ancient Greeks, long before the birth of Christ.
Democracy means 'rule by the people', ie. not the king, or tyrant, or priest, or church.
So Amercians and the rest of the non-muslim world would be against Sharia law the same as they would be against Roman Catholic canon law, or Jewish Rabbinical law, or any other kind of religious law.
Hope this answers your question.

i won't be able to keep in mind ever having heard that. Sharia regulation has hundreds of provisions, there are probable a minimum of a few that could desire to sync up with what we've in place. i won't be able to work out any of the flaws approximately vengance killings or women being killed foe being raped to shield family members honor ever being acceptable in the US by making use of any stretch.
