Between North and East you have North-East in the middle, if you go slightly further North, you have North-East-North.
If you are at North-East and go slightly further East, you have East-North-East and so on....

West - probable PA. East - I stay in Jersey, so purely a pair states alongside the coast. North - long island South - FL have not been to all that many places in the US. Farthest i've got been everywhere is Germany although. became born there and purely visited final October.

In the coordinate system (cross) axis of apscissa (horizontal axis) show west (direction on the right side from zero point) and east (direction on the left side of zero point). In same time ordinate (vertical axis) show to north (upper direction from zero point) and south (to bottom direction from zero point). It means (in your example) that in the coordinate system, north of east cover area of the second quadrant or simpliest, area over the east (left) axis and edge of this area on right side is north axis of ordinate. Go north then when you get there go left for the east.
Go north when you get there go right for west
go south when you get there go right for east.
go south when you get there go left for west.
