Yes it is the reason, riding with your choke on is not good for your bike
It should only be used if you cannont start your bike on the first few kicks, after that it should run by itelf
If you keep doing this the engine will starve from lack of oxygen in your the intake and falsly allowing fuel into the cylinder, which will cause a misfire.
If you ride in choke when you try to accelerate or shift the bike will bog down and stall.

My Dad has been riding for 15 years and I have been riding for 5 along with my brothers.

Its in your best intrest, for the sake of your bikes "health" not to do this any longer.

Good Luck!

different than for the a great variety of the older <1975 motorcycles, the "choke" is definitely an enricher. A choke restricts the flow of air into the carb throat, inflicting it to tug extra gas in. An enricher basically opens up an further passageway that admits somewhat extra air and lots extra gas. With an enricher, the idle speed will boost with the "choke " on while it won't with a real choke. the reason your motorbike dies once you shut the throttle is with the aid of the fact once you do, you're choking it down, actually, via overfueling it. as quickly as you open the throttle with an enricher, the vacuum differential drops and the enriching circuit stops flowing. Chokes and enrichers are purely for chilly climate beginning and working till the engine is warmed up adequate to run without it. as quickly because it is going to run without the choke on, turn it off inspite of no count in case you began it up 10 seconds in the past or 10 minutes. And the quickest thank you to heat an engine up is to get it onto the line. The extra gas you run with the aid of the engine, the swifter it warms up. Idling does not do this on the instant in any respect. The longer you're taking to warn the engine up, the extra condensation varieties interior the crankcase, turning your oil into what looks like warm chocolate milk.

Yes, it is bad to ride with the choke open.
The engine will idle high and cause increased wear. Also, the engine can flood like it did when you were are the stop light.
The choke should only be used start the engine and warm it up.

yes its a problem,it starves the engine of air thru the intake while allowing fuel into the cylinder, resulting in missfiring or flooding.

The biggest problem will be fouling the spark plugs.
It's not very good for the exhaust pipes either.
